Safety & Compliance
Safety Isn't a Checkbox. It's Our Standard.
OSHA 30 certified crews. Manufacturer-authorized installations. Full documentation at every project. Zero-incident culture from day one.
OSHA 30 Certification
What OSHA 30 Means for Your Project
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is the industry standard for supervisory personnel on commercial construction sites. It covers fall protection systems, hazard identification, personal protective equipment, electrical safety, scaffold safety, and site emergency procedures.
At Seal Top, OSHA 30 certification isn't limited to the company principal: it's required for every site supervisor assigned to your project. The person running your job site holds the same certification that qualifies them to manage roofing safely on any commercial site in the Southeast.
This matters to GCs because it reduces your risk exposure: incidents on a site with an uncertified roofing sub can implicate the GC directly. Our certification documentation is available before mobilization: not after you ask for it.
OSHA 30 Covers
Our Safety Program
Certification is the minimum. Our safety culture goes further on every project.
Pre-Task Planning

Fall Protection First
100% fall protection on all roofing work above 6 feet. Anchor points, lifelines, and guardrails installed before crew accesses roof.
Hazard Communication
SDS maintained on site for all chemical products. Workers trained on proper handling, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures.
Incident Reporting
All near-misses and incidents documented and reviewed within 24 hours. Corrective actions implemented before work resumes.
Equipment Inspection
Daily inspection of all fall protection equipment, ladders, and power tools. Out-of-service tagging for any non-compliant equipment.

Safety Certification
OSHA 30 Hour: Construction Safety
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is the recognized standard for supervisory personnel on commercial job sites. It covers fall protection, hazard identification, PPE requirements, scaffold safety, electrical hazards, and emergency planning. Many GCs and public agencies require this before a roofing contractor can mobilize. At Seal Top, OSHA 30 is held by every site supervisor — not just company ownership — so the certified person is always physically present on your project.

Manufacturer Certification
GAF Certified Roofing Contractor
GAF is the largest roofing manufacturer in North America. Their certification program requires demonstrated installation proficiency, factory training, and adherence to GAF specifications. A GAF-certified contractor can issue NDL (No Dollar Limit) warranties — the highest tier of manufacturer coverage available. Without this certification, no GAF warranty can be issued regardless of which materials are used, making it a prerequisite for any project requiring GAF warranty documentation.
Manufacturer Certification
Versico Authorized Applicator
Versico is a premium manufacturer of TPO and EPDM single-ply systems under the EnVerio brand. Their applicator program is selective — contractors must demonstrate technical proficiency and maintain ongoing performance standards. Versico's EnVerio TPO warranty program offers up to 25 years of coverage. As a Versico authorized applicator, Seal Top can specify and install EnVerio systems with full manufacturer warranty on both materials and workmanship — a distinction that matters when your warranty is the asset.

Manufacturer Certification
Sika Authorized Applicator
Sika is a global leader in specialty construction chemicals and roofing systems. Their authorization program covers liquid-applied and membrane roofing systems, validating that Seal Top's team has been trained on proper surface preparation, product application ratios, and quality control procedures specific to Sika's product lines. This training is mandatory for warranty issuance — Sika warranties are voided if installation deviates from authorized applicator procedures.
Coatings Certification
GACO Authorized Applicator
GACO (GacoFlex) is a leading manufacturer of silicone and polyurethane roof coatings. Their authorized applicator program is specific to coating-based restoration systems. GACO authorization is the credential that allows Seal Top to issue manufacturer-warranted restoration projects — without it, no GACO warranty can be offered. This certification is the core credential behind every roof restoration proposal we deliver, ensuring the 10–20 year warranties we issue are backed by the manufacturer.

Safety Certification
CERTA Certified Applicator
CERTA (Certified Roofing Torch Applicator) is the insurance and safety industry's recognized credential for torch-applied modified bitumen work. Torch application is one of the leading causes of roofing-related fires. CERTA certification demonstrates that applicators have been trained in fire prevention, fire watch protocols, proper propane handling, and site safety procedures. Many insurance companies and building owners require CERTA certification before permitting any torch work — and Seal Top holds it before mobilizing on any torch project.
Inspection Certification
HAAG Certified Inspector
HAAG Engineering is the most recognized third-party forensic inspection firm in the roofing industry. The HAAG Certified Inspector (HCI) designation is the credential relied upon by insurance adjusters, attorneys, and building owners to validate hail, wind, and impact damage claims on commercial properties. A HAAG-certified contractor can perform damage assessments that carry weight in insurance negotiations and legal proceedings — going beyond a standard contractor's visual opinion. This certification is increasingly required by commercial building owners and insurers before authorizing storm-related repairs, as it ensures the assessment is conducted by a professionally credentialed inspector following an objective, documentable methodology.
